Bro they're the effing same. They applying similar logic to the situations they're in as in not trying to interfere with the story as much as possible. You clearly haven't read it because he doesn't treat them as NPCs. It's literally one of the biggest reasons he acts the way he does. God you're a moron. How the fuck do you miss that. The current antagonist is even an anti thesis to him with how he clearly sees the world as a game. Even the fucking nobility sees them similar please never try to understand a story again. This is one of those mangas i would like to play a full (good) JRPG of ngl.
Ik game adaptations of animangaln are usually trash, but man do i want to play a good game of this.

The main issue is that the game mechanics are pretty uncooked.

Everyone has basic-ass skills or obtuse plot armor skills, while MC has a full-on system with 2 or so extra layers of progression.

Then you have the swordsmanship styles that are closer to jrpg level up skills than the actual Skills.
