So what's the status on this manga? I see that the publication is finished with only 28 chapters, but was it axed, or did the ending feel like the intended stopping point?

This is dumb. They should've stuck with animals. But of course, you have the protagonist with "vampire", because he has to have that "Kirito-esque" appearance for a certain demographic to project themselves into. 🤦‍♂️
