kinda rushed for me tbh coulda been more for sure...

And I can see that Capcom takes some of the design of Miogaruna to make Xenojiivah (- the wind element)

Decent read 7/10 if your not into the game but from a veteran hunter its gonna be 6/10

P.S. Girkuza is a Winged Wyvern not a dragon 😂

For those familiar with the video game series, this manga isn't that far off.

For its time, around Freedom Unite, this manga was way off the mark. Pretty much got plenty things wrong in order to create some sort of cliché "anime" styled work.

But after years of evolution on the game series, this manga is actually quite accurate to the series now. Actually somewhat prophetic, as many beats match parallel to fourth/fifth generation Monster Hunter.

Without spoilers, I'll list off some similar elements you'd want to expect:

1- Hunter Styles/Arts, namely Aerial/Adept and most flashy Hunter Arts.

2- Story beats of MH4, although more similar to a Fairy Tail arc.

3- "New" Monster designs. The designs aren't actually the same, but the concepts and themes reemerge in fourth/fifth gen.

4- MHW's "SOS" system, albeit not the same. Similar in execution, with one major difference.

And etc. :)
