It says this the sequel even they the prequel hasn’t been fully translated at all...this this a remake or what?

@SoulCore876 It gets weirder, since this is showing as being from Hong Kong while the prequel https://mangadex.org/title/49960/ is listed as being from PRC. I would like to know which is correct. I was giving this a shot since it wasn't yet another PRC title, and I've completely burned out on those. I thought this might be somehow different.

For those who are wondering: this is a sequel. However the prequel isn't even done yet.
It's based off a novel so I think they seem to have picked some arc much later on in the novel and started to adapt a separate sequel from there for some reason.
So you would only really understood this if you read the novel, as the manhua adaptation of the prequel is still currently running.
