I don't think even the author knows what they're doing with this series at this point, suddenly Kaoru has speech bubbles that seem like she is talking to Charlotte and Charlotte is responding like on page 27, same with Kaoru appearing to give an explanation about stuff which she didn't before.
I'm wondering if the author originally wanted the story to be an isekai where the reincarnators consciousness transfers and so there is two people in one body, like Charlotte get's great saint power but someone teleports her like we saw and Kaoru is sent so they work together and form a team to save the world, Charlotte as the adorable muscle (magic?) and Kaoru as the brains.
