It is indeed the case that in the novel, she seems to have learned the wrong translations for words, thus the wolf/bear confusion, and there's also a horse/motorcycle confusion. It's as if she didn't quite learn the Isekai language correctly, or if some of the nouns got swapped around in the Isekai (which assumes the Isekai people are literally speaking Japanese.)

Thanks for your comment in Ch 2! I actually noticed every time Alicia is around, we will only get narrations and thoughts from her POV. It felt like we're actually seeing things through her. I think this is a nice touch by the author.
