I mean, this entire series has been all filler since Lutz got promoted faster than EA lays off employees, thereby ending the premise we started reading to begin with.
I just wish these 'filler' arcs have proper pacing. Let us settle into a new situation/place. Build some suspense on the way to the solution. Give a feelgood character growth to the chara representing this new place to link the solution with Lutz's ideals. Keeping the story predictable for easy reading (assuming that's the editorial intent) doesnt mean author can just throw out basic storytelling structure and speed through entire arcs in 2 chapters.
Or have the decency to introduce a new waifu every arc if author dont wanna bother polishing the napkin scribbles he calls "story ideas"
