Mori Kouji sure loves his rape. It's in practically every one of his mangas. Taiga of Genesis, D Diver, the other Suicide Island, etc. Don't recall if Holyland had rape but it most definitely had something like it.

Its people like you that keep me going. To be honest I never minded seeing a rape until this manga. Usually I feel like it has a purpose in the story, but tbh this one just feels like it likes rape. Yeah I get that the villains are bad guys, but like, do I really need to spend hours translating girls getting raped? I already know that Emi won't act different because of it, she won't have trauma, won't develop, it's just going to get forgotten about.

TBH I feel like they've been brain dead this entire series. Kite lets murderers go all the time, lets rapists take women into the mountains. I can't think of one clever thing anyone did. Even Jimbo, you could excuse it as him not caring that much but why does he keep just sending groups of like 5 people when it doesn't work. If he just sent literally everyone out and went with them, all the mc's would die.
