I think it's a "Birds of a Feather" or "Guilty By Association" kind of thing. Marion was a terrible person towards him. And she has made no effort at all to apologize for her behavior. So when he sees how well Wilfred and Marion are getting along? It's a fair judgement call to assume that any appeals he makes to Wilfred will be undone by Marion because he trusts her more than the MC.

I thought I would never read a garbage "became the villain isekai" story because this setting is, in theory, easy to handle and hard to mess it up, but I guess I was wrong. From his looks to his background, this protagonist doesn't feel "villainous" at all. If they didn't tell me at the beginning of the story, I would've never known. It seems the author just wanted to jump in the "reborn as the villain character" bandwagon, but didn't do his homework properly in researching what makes this type of setting good in the first place. Or maybe this is just a bad manga adaptation? I don't know. Either way, I won't be bothering with this.

True, he is just clumsy, insecure and, uh, frustrating?

Maybe we could see more about him being "villainous" if we knew more about his past, but so far what was shown was more along the lines of "selfish, spoiled, entitled brat", which is not exactly "villainous".

I bet if you, love expert, experienced this, you would share somewhat similar sentiments as that guy. What if he was cheated on or divorced after truly loving somebody in the past? Should he still be expected to share your idealistic beliefs? I read through your lines, and nowhere in them did I have the impression that you even come close to having an idea what you're talking about.

So, let me tell you as someone with relationship experience: When you fall in love with someone, it always means that you just ignore that they could cheat on you, leave you, or divorce you, because it's not relevant in the beginning and would even jeopardise your relationship. That's not "beta", that's normal human behaviour. It's also normal human behaviour to overdo it in the beginning when expressing love.

This is something that people normally know and I don't give a damn crap about someone's "feelings" and "experiences" if they clearly do not know anything about both and what they're talking about.

In summary: Go out, touch grass and stop spouting crap. Thanks!
