What Rudy will regret is making Hitogami angry. Hitogami knows that Roxy and Rudy will sire the child of destiny meant to destroy him. He kept them apart on the demon continent, he tried to keep them apart in the labyrinth, but Rudy keeps finding his way to her. He would never have known that Roxy was there - maybe lived or died - but he would have never known loss the same as if he had her. He has her now and Hitogami will make him regret the having.
