There's no way you should expect a fantasy world where slavery is rampant to be woke. It's very intentional in the way Luke is portrayed. You can see the disconnect from Rudy's perspective where he does not understand Luke's concept of manhood as a result of coming from a modern first world 'woke' society, albeit he was a hikikomori.

2- mushoku's world hasn't this woke shit we have, and clearly an medieval world where this kind of pov was the rule

i think its less the writer and more that Luke himself is sexists, heck, in the Light Novel, Rudues himself thinks that Luke is sexist (and this is Rudues were talking about here!)
