Based on what had been said, i doubt the NTR dude cursed her or something.

Most likely, the NTR dude wants the girl because there is chance of someone suffering from the Mana Overload Disease to gain a powerful or unique Job upon being cured.

Its might be possible that the longer one had the disease and the longer they survived, the better chance of getting a rare Job.

This is probably what that NTR guy's target is, aka., he wants to get her because of her potential.

Maybe, he wants to create a strong party with strong/rare job holders, or is looking for someone with a specific job, or has ability to take the Jobs of other people.
There maybe various possibilities.

Wouldn’t he be pinning for roommate as well instead of glaring at her?

I gave it a chance, but the crap kept piling higher. Incest-wanting step-sister. Rando annoying person inserts themself into party for no good reason. MC's only personality feature is his long-term goal. Harems are part of the worldbuilding? The fuck? And now this NTR-smelling whatever-it-is .

Yeah, dropping it like a hot rock. I'm leaving this message in the forums to warn those who follow after me, giving this 3 out of 10 stars (because even this is bad, I've seen much much worse) just to warn myself not to peek at it again, and washing my hand of it. Yuck.
