People are focusing too much on "pedo vibes" to get the real vibe this manga is trying to convey: A man stuck in the worst midlife crisis imaginable, with a depressed daughter and a dead wife.
You think hooking up with an older woman would help? Look at how the older woman at the school treats him! Constantly judging him as a failure of a father despite doing his best.
What he needed was someone young enough to not care about any of society's norms, and to just want him to be happy.
It's not the age gap that's the focus here, but what it represents for the mentally unstable main character; salvation.

Not sure about the context, but the girl kisses him. Lips. He gets super mad though. The developments after that are interesting, and to give you some hope, his life somewhat improves.

@yasashikakashi I have nothing but empathy for him, because in a society that puts so much pressure on being a 'can-do' modern man. And if no-one except his daughters friend will offer the much needed help that he clearly needs, the story line will follow it's course to the end. I have 3 possible endings;

The good.

He and the girl begin a new relationship together somewhere far away, where they are happy for a period of time. However, society and police catch up with them, he is arrested and she is taken into car.

The bad.

She realises that what she is doing is wrong and this happens while they are being intimate with each other while on the run. She cries out for him to stop, and it turns into a rape followed by a murder when she tries to run to the police.

The ugly.

She appears kind and loving, but this is all planned out to lead him astray and fuck with his mind by using his stresses and mental instability against him. She mentally tortures him before leaving him in a dirty hotel room in a bad area. She smiles to herself and closes the door. His body is found hanging in the bathroom with both wrists slit as he ends it all.

From what I've seen, the manga went with "The good" route, they return from their escape and things are generally better for him.
