Going by this, this should conclude the 2nd volume.

But it's written "To Be Continued", so probably at least 1 volume more.

I like seeing the parallels from Kaede and Ai, and Ai and Kon. It lets Ai see how Kaede must have seen her, empathize with how Kaede reacted, and decide if she wants to do the same thing to Kon. Telling your lover you want to make a suicide pact maybe isn't the Rizz King move that Dazai made it out to be.

Nah i bet Kaede will come again to cause pain and suffering to those around her.

You can tell how Kaede didn't love Ai at all, or at least she fancied the idea of Ai killing herself to follow after her, and you can tell how Ai reacts totally different with Kon trying to talk her out of it. That's love.
