I might just be dumb but i find the harem ties to the mc quite interesting. They actually have something that ties them to the mc. The red hair has that Vow skill that makes her stronger near mc while the mom lady has such a similar appearance to Star that they have to be a pair or it feels incomplete. Compared to the usual, just an "I like you so ill stick to you"
