Also, fully autonomous cars is a terrible way to get "results" in a hurry. Unless you're in Somalia or some shit, the amount of red tape to have your autonomous car on public roads is (and should be) enormous. If and when your car gets into an accident, what will you do about liability? And isn't he pretty irresponsible to focus on parking instead of collision avoidance? If all he wants is a car that parks itself - then he should say that. It's a cool option that I think already exists, and much more realistic than "fully autonomous".
And what was that shit about a network? Do you need your car to connect to the internet to drive? "Always online" is a plague. What will you do if you have poor reception?
