Hold up. On page 14 Marin says she's never been to Kamakura.
They are sitting on Shichirigahama beach (Enoshima in the background on page 4)!
Kamakura is right next door! Literally within walking distance! The train they presumably took to get to the beach runs to Kamakura station!

Only to say it was surprising indeed, although the Spin-Off is the guarantee for the story.

If there's anyone who can take it, it's Wakana. Some other dudes who'd like Marin only for her looks would've noped out quick with her headstrong, impulsive personality. Especially since she's absolutely not the easy gyaru they think she is.

Beautiful. If there's even a message to this entire manga, this can be it.

Sad that it's ending soon after they got together, but if Fukuda-sensei is already struggling to write (health issues, and perhaps writer's block) then it's a wrap. Maybe we can have a time skip sequel or something in the future if she's inspired to do one.
