OOF but probably only hit his shoulder or somewhere not exactly vital.

The notes are indeed useful, i honestly forgot most of the character's motivation at that point TBH, except the main girl.

Also the MC reached pure retardation in that chapter, just standing there getting shot.

Uh ... Did they really have to throw THAT much blood on the ground for a farce? Hmmm, I guess they did if they want to pretend they fooled people that he got killed. Also, him knowing at this point would do what exactly ... my prediction is nothing. I guess killing him (or attempting to kill him LOL) would tie up any potential loose ends (but create others). Then again assholes have GOTTA asshole.

@solei I wish I would love to see more manga with a yakuza being isekai-ed such as Yakuza Reincarnation.

@Nikolassur92 - Not to be rude or anything, but In these kinds of stories, 99% of the time it's not important. What I mean by that is, it's almost always generic drama authors seem to think is wanted and needed to shape a character. From what I can remember, the mom left them because they became destitute (shocker, right? LMFAO) and was sick of not having money.

This chapter further confirms that she was just a generic whore that is just here to give the MC a sob story about an absent parent and how he yearned for her to be there.

TL;DR - There is really nothing to remember because its the same old shenanigans these authors like to use for drama. In the future, when its most convenient, the author will expand on it as they all do. So, for now I wouldn't worry about it.

@Akemua The MC never really seems to care that his mother left though. If anything, it was just am excuse to make him good at cooking and cleaning...kind of like Raku from Nisekoi

@Hoofan_1 - Right, and it's subtle, but he became more of a caretaker because of an absent parent and because of the other adults around him... They are bad at that themselves. But regardless, my point is that authors do this kind of stuff to push towards a certain character element or story arc and justify it. It's not bad per say, just extremely generic. And I honestly feel as though they do it because they've seen it done before so it's easy to write, LMFAO.

Regardless, I agree he's not edgy because of it, and I could be wrong and maybe she wasn't cheating/a money hoe and the dad was wrong, which I VERY highly doubt, but it did shape his character and I would be personally shocked if his mom doesn't have some significance, later on, to push the story and his character along.

I hope the MC actually got shot (but not killed) and not some other bullshit.

I don't get why they had the scene with Mom leaving. Not sure how that is related to the clan fight, since dad and granddad stayed around.
