I honestly enjoy the robot-girl story concept more than the main story to some extent.

The ongoing existential crisis on several fronts, the currently-ambiguous disposition of the various units, as well as aspects of "the personality unit" knowing her perception of the world is being messed with by her fellows is really interesting.
