No clue how noona got the idea MC likes her just because he doesn't want to do indecent things to/around her, although I guess it's probably a cultural thing and she isn't exactly knowledgeable on human feelings. I find myself disliking the situation MC was in because it was nearly a "damned if you do" deal where he was getting punished for wooing noona but also getting punished for trying to turn her down. He averted any punishment from the bird girls and I'm guessing over the next chapter or two he'll be calming noona down so all's well that ends well I guess.

1) It's not because he "doesn't want to" but "why he doesn't want to". Basically "he likes her not as sister" kind of deal.
2) He was beaten for trampling over her feelings. Without even realising it.
