Too late to say this, I know, but one of the previous translators of this manwha (I believe the very first) was translating the novels at his blog, but stopped at volume 1, chapter 3 (weird, I believed he had reached volume 2), stopped, released the first chapter of a different novel, left novel translations forever and left translation, period.

Since then, no one has resumed the work.

I did speak with Dijon when I first took over MLT and he did share his blog with me though I honestly forgot about it 😅

I doubt he will continue it since he didn't have time for the manga and of course the novel would be a lot more work.

Others have asked if I would do it and I don't want to rule it out but I'd need people to support paying for the TL and I don't know what the costs would be for a Novel.

I'm paying out of pocket for the manga since I like reading it and want it finished but I'm not invested enough to read the novel without the amazing art of a manga. Might sound strange from me but the story has never been amazing, pretty average honestly but the amazing art, uniquely designed and likable characters saved the mediocre story for me.

I would also need a proofreader as I simply wouldn't have the motivation to do that for a novel as I'm not a big reader outside of manga.

Maybe once the manga gets close to completion I'll make a proper poll and get an idea of how it would work along with costs and who would be willing to donate etc.

Or maybe Ai will get good to the point it can translate it but I'm sure a real TL would be needed as mistakes would always happen. I honestly have little expectations for getting the novel translated but if people are willing to pay for it and our current translator is happy to work on it I'll gladly help get it all sorted.

Wasn't asking for it, just reminding people that the project did exist. I'm pretty sure Dijon did mention those points (too much work and too little time making his continuation of it an extreme unlikelyhood) in his farewell included on his last manga chapter.

At least this series has some kind of end and the manwha translation gets picked up relatively quickly every time it gets dropped. Other korean series I follow don't even have that ging for them.
