You know, I never felt the need to learn more about the Food Sanitation Act but the wall of text on the credits page was endearing in how well it managed to balance being filled to the brim with information while being also to the point and without much fluff and I'm glad to have read it. Oh wow, they talked about height over bore and ballistic trajectory. That's cool. Also, I actually enjoy the info dumps at the end of the chapters since I wouldn't actually be able to research this stuff without a lot of time and a dictionary. Thirdly, we're so back.

I find the info dumps very informative. The translator does a great job of researching the various rules and regs, so hat's off to them. As a side note, having to bicycle pump the rifle..what a drag. should have gone with a break barrel.

As of April 26, 2024, the official English title is "My Lovely Fox Wife" according to the new logo that was put up on the Campfire funding page for Oyome-chan Volume 7 Paper Book Release. You can reference it here. Before this, this series never had an official English title. I personally only referred to this series by its Japanese name: "Kitsune no Oyome-chan". All the other non-official English titles - including "The Fox Girl is My Wife" - are relics from when Konkon was translating this series 5 years ago that were never cleaned up. As far as I remember, this is the first instance since I've begun working on this series that the title name was edited in Mangadex.

In conclusion: We have, in fact, found the official English title which didn't exist until like 3 weeks ago. I will likely still keep referring to this series by its Japanese name, but I will stick with the official title if I ever find the need to refer to it in English.

It's been ages since last time. What the fuck took so long?

A couple reasons:
1. This is one of the most difficult series to translate that I have ever seen due to its copious depictions of legal processes and general info dumps about things like birds. These take a while to research in order to ensure accuracy.

2. Batta has bad handwriting and he likes to handwrite a lot of stuff. Deciphering it also takes a while.

3. I moved overseas at the beginning of the year due to a new job assignment. Said job assignment additionally required me to spend all of April living out of a tent with only a work computer and a starlink. My property shipment also didn't arrive until the beginning of this month. While I had a laptop, I was quite busy trying to figure out getting a car/housing/how the fuck europe works.
