Honestly living as a popular/genius cultivator or a normal/average one both suck.
On one hand, being popular/genius is amazing because uh, duh? But it also comes with a fuckton of risks because strong cultivators are usually involved in all the big and dangerous fights.
On the other hand, being a normal/average can be really depressing especially when you compare yourself to all the amazing people out there, you can be bullied by others stronger than you and you are definitely gonna die if there are big/dangerous fights around.

We believe that being a somewhat average is quite the satisfying life so long you do not compare yourself to others and become envious. Nothing much is demanded and one could just live their life. In this world, just be the good NPC that runs whenever something big happens and you should be fine.
assuming that you run away in time, and completely outrun the threat of course. Like in this secret realm with the black puppets, I don't think you can outrun them should they choose to chase you.
