Aww~ I actually didn't like her first appearance into the manhwa (she barged in on Wujin & the director). But she was better than the idol girl (seriously, I didn't like her at all; she was pretty as an idol but she's just too annoying). I didn't really want any romance in this manhwa, but having one true FL is way better than the initial haremy aspects they kept injecting into the story. One FL is plenty enough! It pissed me off so bad that I almost dropped this manhwa.
It's like, if you want to add romance, then be fcking decisive about it! Add REAL romance, not some half-assed peppering of good females whose characters get wasted because somehow they ALL become idiots for the male MC. The whole manhwa just becomes cheap because these "uwu~ he's so handsome" moments all come out of left field. That is not even realistic. In real life, can you imagine these all girls being single? Yea—no. Fat chance. In the entertainment industry, one or two of these girls would have a rich non-showbiz boyfriend or something.
Also here's a secret: women can actually move on from their failed crushes! Gasp I know, shocker! Hahahaha I'm glad to finally come across a manhwa where that is portrayed.
Anyway, I'm just glad they steered away from the haremy aspects and Wujin was decisively loyal to Yein.
I'm so glad they didn't portray him as some opportunistic dude who jumps at the slightest sign of affection and "cares" for multiple ladies so much because he "doesn't want to hurt" them. That's just a coward who doesn't have the backbone to put up proper boundaries. They'd love to be the ladies' doormat as long as they get some, ykwim? 🙄 That is soooo prevalent in most male-lead manhwas nowadays. Can we stop normalizing it? I just read smut or h3ntai if I wanted to indulge in it, no need to cheapen manhwas that have decent plotlines (no matter how cliche they get). Being a whole MC is so underrated nowadays.
Oh man, I've digressed and yapped for too long. All I wanted to say was that I'm thankful they didn't destroy this manhwa.
