Honestly she had that coming. Her husband has some friends and acquaintances who are fans of the magical girls. If even a small bit of detail about her returning is revealed, then her husband is going to learn about it from his friends. Even the part about her being embarrassed to be seen by her husband doesn't make sense, since it's still possible for her husband to see and/or get a picture that someone took of his wife while she's transformed.
