From what I can grasp, 3 factions exist. Normal humans, spirits, and human spirit hunters (HSH, basically humans with powers).
Humans are the mob characters, spirits are the "existence in question", HSH are the generic murderous racists who somehow are "above the law" and ironically believe they are in the right eventhough they are one-sidedly reasonable for 90% of the problems. Starting shit for their own made up reasons and all which everyone else "has" to abide by. Then there is MC who is mostly neutral for all 3 groups.
