4 hours a day. Depending on how much stuff I need to go shopping for and cleaning.
But if you keep things clean everyday it’s not much work.
I clean for a living, so I might've learned some efficiency in that, but as far as housework goes, that's a small part unless you've got a very large house, and a large family who doesn't help. As you say, if you do it frequently there's not much to do. It's all a matter of not letting it pile up.
I find most time is spent on cooking (all meals including dishes), since that's something that takes a bit of time and you have to do it multiple times a day. Shopping is like half an hour once or twice a week, laundry is also not too frequent, and other stuff just doesn't take a lot of time.
What really takes time is if you have children, since spending time and taking care of them is constant. But also rewarding, and in many cases less about time spent as it is time earned.
