I think what happens is that Kuzunoha said she doesn't feel like the world is real for her, and then becomes desperate to try all sort of things to "feel more", like all the record breaking at school, risky bets, promiscuous behaviour, and seeking excitement wherever.
This is kind of implied on chapter 63 and 64.
And since she isn't from this world gets attracted to oddities.
Plus what was expressed on this chapter.

When the cover with Kuzunoha came out, I thought it was Sumireko with a makeover or something.

You know what to do Nujima sensei put Torako in cosplay too!

Adashino said no to NTR, based and chad pilled!!

By her logic will she start thirsting for old man Tanaka next since he is also an oddity? or is a harem going to form around Adashino now that he and Sumireko are officially dating just to add drama? man just trhow the bone to the occult fan boy and let us have some vanilla

Torako my beloved, I am so happy to actually see that Torako could control her strength while moving her body in aggressive manners. If it was the previous Torako we would have seen a lot of gorey bodies even if it was an oddities. Reminder Torako canonically carry an entire train.

Also Adashino-kun.... Nice taste. Sumireko is definitely better in every way

This is huge news because it means that officially you can now date and survive Torako to keep dating her! before you were locked in on a suicide mission, the best kind of suicide mission, but suicide nonetheless

First, between this arc and the earlier ones, how many times has Sumireko deaged? Second, is there a place where I can read the untranslated chapters? Apparently there are like 95 chapters already.

the latest chapter can be found on the yawaspi website. you can buy each of the already released chapters for a few hundreds yen at shogakukan.

regarding the overall chapter count: yes, the JP web release is up to 96 as of today. the previous translators used the web release chapter numbering. when i took over i only had the tankobon volumes and I used that numbering. the tankobon chapters often put two or more web-release chapters together so there are less chapters in total but with a longer page count.
long story short; i still have 2 chapters of the 9th tankbon volume left to translate, i already checked what web-release chapter would come next. it seems that the tankobon ends with web chapter 87, so if you would like to read further, you'd have to start somewhere around there. (which also means, we're not that far away from reaching the jp releases).

that said, after i finish vol 9 i need to sit down and actually find a solution for the messed up numbering that came with me taking over. :lul:

And about the other question, pedantic as it probably is? Did Sumireko deage between that time she went to see the destroyed bookstore and the last volume?

Sorry to annoy, but yawaspi only has the latest chapter, and it's all japanese. How do I read the others? As in, in what folder/page are they archived or whatever?

yea yawaspi only has the latest chapter, they don't archive them. you'd have to buy the others from the other link i sent (shogakukan).

I don't know, if nobody else can say it right off the bat you'd have to click through the chapters yourself
