Mc seems like quite the edgelord. The tactics used seem a bit shallow. Frontline blocks with shield -> nuke with magic. That in itself isn't really a problem, it just gives me the impression that it's a setup to be turned on its head by the mc in a way that makes it seem like "everyone is dumb but me" Maybe I'm looking into it too much. The way he was talking about essentially the meta changing from fighters to mages seemed really shallow. It seems stupid as hell that he chose to dedicate to fighter despite his extreme aptitude for magic, even considering the fact that it was perceived as weaker at the time, for whatever reason. I usually wouldn't analyze a first chapter this much and just move on, but theres a few red flags here for me. Hope it ends up being good, though.
