I’m fucking sorry, we went from S&M to cucking NTR and some fucking asshole not respecting a safe word and actual sexual/assault so that “the kids will say I love you”?? This author is driving this shot into the ground at this point this made me genuinely upset.

I understand what the author want to show us reader. Sensei want to help our MCs relationship progression by doing this thing. And the plan works, we as reader shown that our MCs feeling got through to each other.

But the mistake is ignoring the safe word. Author shouldn't be progressing the story with ignoring the safe word. That is no more a play. Author screwed up in the prequel with the last arc. And author did it again here..

The safe word violation really sour the story.
I understand it adds weight into the pressure the two adults try to push Nana and Kaory forward, and it's kinda in character for them as people who has trouble conveying what they want to say; but, violating safe word is just really not good.
Author could have played it that safe word never been established so Nana's beg to stop is never clear so Kaoru has to interfere, but the weight is far less than safe word violation and might not seems enough to push Kaoru to go up against his idol like Sarashina, but... yeah, safe word violation just sour the whole thing.
