Definitely worth it.. loved the entire ride of this seriesChat should i read this whole series? 2008 & this recent 2018 one
Whats the diff between the 2, and is there that stupid cuck bait shitDefinitely worth it.. loved the entire ride of this series
There are three series, but all three tell a single story. First is Nana to Kaoru, then NtK - Black Label, then this one (Last Year). Read them in that order.Whats the diff between the 2, and is there that stupid cuck bait shit
So if I read this I won't be seeing none that dumbass second dude comes in, tries to woo the girl for a solid 15 chapters while MC chokes everything, cause I'm going to come back and eat you like dahmer if it happensThere are three series, but all three tell a single story. There's no "stupid cuck bait" at all, everything is really well thought out and makes sense in the context of the story.
I just finished reading the whole story once and for all, and it was definitely worth it! I think it goes too far in some ways in some respects, but overall it's great and has some really interesting insight into psychology, relationships, etc.
Admittedly I don't remember the original series clearly anymore so take this with a grain of salt, but I kinda feel unsure that some of the arc might get on your nerve for that. Still, I'd encourage you to take a dive if you can get past the overarching theme of heavy BDSM. The art might not be for everyone, but the conveying of feeling and tension is really amazing. The core message about love and relationship, too, was really true and valuable, albeit a bit twisted on the surface due to its theme. Do mfs call you the goat, because I dosigh... no sign that a (literal) fuck was given... Well, it suits them, I supposed, but I kind of hope for it since they were edging very close to it back in summers.
Well, I can now have a closure I finished this series to its ultimate completion.

Release wise, it's NtK, Arashi/Black Label, then last year, but order of event is NtK > Last year Ch. 1-7 > Arashi/Black Label > Last year 8-End.
The sequence between Last year and Arashi is a bit messed up. I read Arashi first many years ago and when I started Last year a few days ago, it feels a bit weird since Arashi did progress their relationship, but now everything is rolled back. However, when I reached Ch. 7 of LY and re-read Arashi again to brush up the story, there's a little gap that was not very smooth between it. Also it's a bit jarring between the mood and tone of the old release and new release too. But personally I'd prefer the approach of reading Arashi in between LY since LY connect directly from the end of NtK (like, literally just days or week after the end of NtK).
