What a shit forced plot. Like cant you announce that critical point yourself? sure the leader cant be the one to do everything but you could have added it as a side note in the announcement.
This one is very similar to Pick Me Up and so a character dying to give weight to the characters life is fine. But cmon dont make it feel this cheap. Also did i just saw the non combatants holding a spear? How could you give the vanguards only swords? I guess it doesnt really matter because the fighting is quite meh.
