This isn’t my first time going through Naruto but I genuinely couldn’t maintain a straight face with this chapter. Naruto… wtf do you mean with,”I feel like I understand why I like her”??? She just told you she hates your guts, has a completely made up negative view of you, and likes the guy you despise the most.

Yes of course, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that his reason for liking her is dumb.

Although, after re-reading that part again. It seems Naruto sympathizes with Sakura because she seeks acknowledgment from Sasuke like he seeks awknoleg from the village that hates him and ostracizes him. I will concede that part, however it still feels wrong him admitting his crush on Sakura after she basically treats him like all the other villagers do, if anything he should feel angry about it but I guess you can also argue he is being empathetic.
