Its interesting to see that even Kishi himself didn’t think Sakura looked cute. In general, I always felt like most of the female character designs in this series struggle to look cute or appealing in comparison to others in other manga of the same genre. Like don’t get me wrong, I still do like some of the female character designs(Hinata, Konan, Temari) but when I look at how many more female character designs I like within other shounens like Black Clover, MHA, even One Piece despite the criticisms Oda gets from his female character designs.
