man gonna whiplash me when theres gonnna be a time travel shenanigan

If it were, my hypothesis is that, She did in fact killed them, but rather, her future self. But instead of two person in a single timeline, its more like she's swapping with her past self with her future self. which would check out as I think it has to do with the fact that almost every testimony of her, refers to her in different weight and look multiple times within the span of a month.

That's Theory 1.

Theory 2, I'm guessing is that his Shinju's dad may have met with her mom at some point, or her.

Naw I think thats a bit too crazy for this series that has been relatively based on something more plausible than not. The 2nd theory might be it though, id imagine they couldve been childhood friends if their parents were a bit closer or something

Man, is this gonna be some groundhog day shizz? Though that wouldn't be too far off brand for this author.

I like @DOT107 1st theory best. The "Butterfly Effect" route sounds cool. But from the context and her phrasing i'm leaning towards time-loop.

Maybe each of those men lead to her death one way or another.
Maybe she was trying to solve the murder of someone and keeps getting sent back till she finds the real killer.
Heck, maybe that mystery person she's waiting for, is a magic wizard who locked her in a time-loop.

Thanks for the update!⭐

"The one I've been waiting for"
At this point I am convince that Arata is also a fck up shit like Shinju. They suit each other well. I hope when she goes out, she will kill him.
And then, they live happily ever after, just like Disney motto.

I shotgunned this in a day and it's outstanding. There's a great push and pull making Shinju so horrifying and sympathetic from moment to moment. Cute and ugly. Arata trusts her completely and doesn't believe a word she says.
Its outstanding. I hope they get to live in a cute house together.
