I'm still not grasping where the story is headed at all? We have this mystery so to say about Aki and Hotaru's relationship and why Aki has been sending her this "weird" stuff recently and every chapter we get a glimpse at their relationship and we are slowly piecing it together. On the other had we have this whole thing with Yuna and Shiratori-Sensei.

What I'm getting at is that I don't see the connection between these two things? Like I assume there's supposed to be some thematic connect and relevance to these things but I'm still not seeing it. I guess we'll find out more in the following chapters (i hope) but we are 4 chapters in and I still don't get what I'm reading

We’ll have to wait and see. I think though that this may end up being two or three separate stories for each character that are tied together through them knowing each other. Yodokawa (the author) seems to like doing multiple casual stories at once rather than focusing solely on one person.

okay so like, I understand that the intent is to localize a fair bit for a more general audience (as evidenced by the use of Ms. rather than sensei, and western name orders), but is stan really that prevalent of a word? I mostly heard it in the early '10s and almost never these days.

given that the demographic I'd expect to be on mangadex and dynasty, I'm sure more people are familiar with the term oshi. but even then if you wanted to avoid using japanese loan words, I think idol is the term that gets used most often in the general english vernacular
