See I feel like Pun chan does care about/appreciate president in his own way.

For example, early on Prez goes on a business trip and Pun chan is enjoying the solitude but then remembers a bunch of instances of Prez being nice to him and goes over to the pet camera to say hi to him.

There are also some things they're on the exact same wavelength about. Costumes, that horror novel they read together, stuff Pun chan does to seem more like a real cat...

Their bond is pretty asymmetrical but it's still there.
