Yeah, you're supposed to wash every part. Though arguably you shouldn't give a bath to your cat in the first place I'd say.

well it was a bit of a buildup but i'm sure there's a way to groom a cat safely without using as much water as you would a dog , but it's not as if it's daily, it's probably pun-chan's first bath since like the first time (i do hear for rabbits it'd be too shocking/to do a wet /damp rag instead or so). i know turkish vans specifically can /like swimming but i don't know how many cats just like chill like a bathhouse/sauna (but yeah i imagine normal brushing is enough unless it gets mud or something spilled on it)
