She brought this on herself, for the most part. She went along with him treating her strictly as a cat because she thought she could lowkey change/fix him (a.k.a manipulation), rather than asking to be friends when her secret was revealed and seeing where things went from there. Even if she didn't do that from the beginning, she still could have course corrected when she felt he wasn't respecting her feelings, or when she found out he wasn't interested in human relationships. But no, she tried to force him to accept a relationship solely on her terms (which are revealed to be hypocritical when he learns about her "job"), got butthurt and ran off when he didn't, and is now upset that he called her out on it and is "giving her what she wanted".
