it might be a generational thing but i don't think i've ever even seen a drive in but i guess this wasn't a movie drive-in lol

Apple soba sounds interesting

Oof, well, interesting it was a missing person, too bad it seemed more like a ghost wanting to drag them along as opposed to 'we finally found their bones and can give their family closure'

It doesn't really fit the definition of drive-in, which is a facility where you do your business straight from car. This is actually known as rest area or service area, while in Japan they also have roadside stations.

Yeah, With how that last panel went I presume as soon as they boarded up the prefab the door would spiritually lock thereby dooming to death. I do wonder if the realities over lapped thereby allowing them to drive the Girl's Car. Them going to the bathroom ended the reality.

Yeah surprised they wouldn’t say rest stop but maybe drive inn was a loan word or so lol

I think the implication here is the girls were killed by that big dude and their corpses were kept in the prefab shack. Perhaps the big dude is also there because he himself was haunted to death by the vengeful spirits of the girls. The strange looking "girl" from the photo booth, the moth, the mouth in the vending machine, the entire roadside station itself and the gigamaggots were perhaps clues for the guys that they are in Limbo.

I was about to make an inappropriate joke about the vending machine but seeing the somber end of the story made me refrain from doing so lol.

Wonder if them taking the girls out of the drive-in limbo meant their spirit get to pass on...and them people charging the drive-in? Reminds me of this one story where a guy was driving in the backroads and he thought he hit someone..i forgot what happens later BUT what I do know is when the guy drives away...the lady he ran over got up and a few guys emerge from the bushes..maybe that's what happened to the girls and the true purpose of the drive-in.

Everyone's acting like this is ghosts or something but clearly the girl they met just by pure coincidence happened to look exactly like the one that disappeared 10 years ago despite being a totally different person, right? Because ghosts don't exist.

I like this one just because of how jam packed full of weird random anomalous BS happened in it.

So did those girls die originally when they decided to run away and hide in shed from maggots in past life? but this time with guys we're dragged away in car instead and would have survived? Or were there spirits trying to lure them into trap?
