The odd thing I noticed in Kento's reasoning about the Handsome skill is that he thinks it activates when he exhibits some fondness for a woman, however, when he genderswapped, the shop owner immediately became enamored with him; by his reasoning, did he think the shopkeep was attractive from the start?

It's good he fessed up to the others and is seeking a way to seal the handsome skill as it'd be poisonous to relationships. Sure it's tempting to draw a harem together, but would wear him away mentally in that wouldn't be able to tell difference between the girls being interested because of the skill and caring due to true feelings. I remember a couple other stories where character who had skill drowned in the pleasure and stopped seeing women as people and more as objects he could sell, trade, use and abuse with them claiming to be happy about it. Yet when influence was removed the women were almost mentally broken from all the things they did with several committing suicide.

If I remember correctly he tried a few other things in the LN but they broke hence why had to pay so much gold. I hope they ask the waitress for permission to test if the glasses can nullify the skill first because if his glasses break, fall off, or maybe just recalling the memory of how she really looks occurs and the skill activates she'll be captivated. Should have Rina and Milly contact people they know or people their contacts know (preferably male,) about making multiple seals for the handsome skill that can work independently or stack together without interfering with each other like earrings, necklaces, bracelets, toe rings, rings, tattoos, etc. Those glasses don't block the skill just make him think the woman is a man so not interested in her. However, if something happens to the glasses or a woman does something that really impresses him even if think she's a man could cause the skill to still activate. Also, something to break the effects of the skill so can know that the women being with and helping him are doing so from own feelings rather than the skill.

In any case chances are he'll ensnare a woman he shouldn't because she's the wife/relative of a male with a lot of power who solves everything with violence or a woman that has unhealthy ways of expressing love. Like a yandere trying to murder the others to monopolize him or a woman from a species where killing and feeding or implanting the male with eggs is part of the mating ritual. Then there's species who could hurt him accidentally due to being in throes of passion like a lamia wrapping around him and crushing him in her coils trying to embrace him as hard as she can or a female minotaur using too much strength while addled with lust.
