What's good, peeps? I'm new to the site, so I'm seeking assistance with questions and using it to introduce myself.
My main goal is to figure out if I can get the Japanese versions of manga on the site. Having English versions of manga I was never able to access will be great, but I'm learning Japanese & having some of my favorite anime and manga series as a fun way of practical application as I learn would provide content to further develop my Japanese literacy.
Attempt at Quick Intro- Most people call me Reaper, not a nickname because I thought it was cool (would use something more unique if that was the case), but a nickname given to me after I clinically died on the second occasion. Yup, can't say the events for each were something I wouldn't do over again even if I didn't come back, but can't deny the results probably could have been achieved in a way that wasn't as drastic. Especially when they were two separate occasions, years apart, and completely unrelated. Not the best at summarization anymore after death #2 caused scar tissue on the brain & I went from eidetic memory to a lower spectrum of "average". When you were able to recall every detail all the way back to your earliest memory & then barely able to remember why you walked into another room, it makes everything seem potentially important. I never had to learn to distinguish between what was important and the details that could be left out, as it all seems important now. Like a new university student highlighting their textbooks, but really just turning the color of the page bright yellow. So sorry if future posts are over detailed in the future, & sorry about this intro being another example of this shortcoming.
Appreciate anyone who even reads this post, & if you're willing and able to help, please have my gratitude. Again, sorry for the overly detailed intro, and no offense taken if you skipped it or just stopped reading halfway through. Finding out if the Japanese versions of manga are available and how to search for my favorite series and identify if it has the Japanese version available is the most important reason I posted, so thank you. Again thanks for anyone who made it this far.
Some general ideas of my default reading list:
Im pretty willing to check out anything but some title that are most known that are my general fall back old reliables: Any of the Dragon Ball branches, Gundam any universe is good (even SD if it’s the only option), Supernatural like jujutsu keizen, & nearly anything that has swords, martial arts, Samurai, Ninja, or connections with Japanese Mythology.
