I hope that Shirley is able to talk in the future. I don't think that it's ever been made clear why she can't (or chooses not to). I like the character; but she's kind of an odd addition to the team. Whenever I see a ghost, I always think, "wouldn't it be best for them to move on?" Shirley she go to heaven or be reincarnated. Or, since she rules over life and death in the dungeon, is she condemned to do that job for all of eternity? Seems like a pretty shitty deal for her. I would prefer that she either move on, or they find a way to bring her back to life.
Wridra adjusting the seal on Shirley, allowed her to have a more physical form. She said that her real body is in the throne; which Shirley refused to touch. I noticed that Wridra referred to Shirley as a spirit; and not a ghost. So what is actually in that throne: Shirley's corpse or Shirley's body in some kind of stasis? It feels like the author is making up the rules of un-death as they go. And if Shirley goes on an adventure, there's no one managing life and death in the dungeon. Do people's souls properly pass on, without her there. If yes, then Shirley's job is actually non-existent.
Shirley's new outfit, is a huge downgrade. Her outfit that we've been seeing her in most of the time (post cleansing), is much cuter.
