Still don't know what to think of Kanamori, on one side he seems like he's just using Wagatsuma and then other times it looks like he genuinely cares about him.
The fact that it's mentioned that principal came from the future, went back and then came back from the future again makes me think that this isn't the last time we see Wagatsuma in this timeline.

Wait, is this the Gaku timeline or the pre-Gaku timeline? It references the freshman uprising, but in Gaku's timeline this never happened.

Even Wagatsuma is supposed to be 17 year old in 2022 if he didn't time slipped.. It just that Wagatsuma had gone to the past, 9 years earlier before Gaku..

I was thinking that he'd warp into the exact time he first timeslipped, the rules aren't exactly clear.
And there's no reason to think that Gaku's original timeline is the ORIGINAL original timeline either, for all we know Gaku might have come from a timeline that already had other timeslippers.

He wouldn't be a politician but even more scum as a father in the original future timeline before Wagatsuma time slipped from 2013. I guess in the origin of past timeline before Wagatsuma arrive, Kanamori and his girlfriend (Wagatsuma mother) would ran away because they couldn't stand with the punks in the town who used to shit on them all the time, since Kanamori didn't have any strong man on his back. The original timeline before being altered by Wagatsuma is even more depressing & tragic for Wagatsuma's family life. All the efforts & struggled by Kanamori & his GF to ran away from the town, just to get divorced and separated in their later adulthood life which ended with Kanamori abandoned his wife & his son and fooling around with other woman. And soon his wife would passed away, leaving Wagatsuma alone being a lost boy.
