So... The doctor just turned a blind eye to Chitoge being in the hospital well after visiting hours? Ok.

This really does highlight their personalities quite well. Even a bit of ‘relationship stability’ indicators. Note how tragically short Kosaki’s visit was because she couldn’t handle being alone with him like that, the moment she heard her sister wasn’t coming any time soon, and he even got himself too worked up at the start that he hurt himself. And how Chitoge probably spent a good while with him at the start, and even came back at the end, full of tenderness.

Even Tsugumi’s visit gave indicators to Chitoge’s concern for him with the talk about her appetite- sure, to a normal person’s standards, it didn’t sound bad, but Tsugumi knows her well, so it’s best to trust her that it’s light for Chitoge’s eating habits. She really does need to work more on showing her true feelings in front of him, though. You could tell, as she left the first time, that she was so relieved he was fine. He wouldn’t have had to hear how worried she was from Tsugumi if she could just show that concern sincerely before him.

Then there was Marika trying to overstay her welcome with that unwelcome tent. She’s really unsettlingly clingy. Always going overboard.

But all those visits had a toll, with so many apples… hahaha…

And I think she was allowed to be there with him at the very end because she was the one that hit the call button and was there with him at the time. I don’t know how this sort of stuff is in terms of protocol, but extenuating circumstances might apply, here.
