As much as I love the sound of that, they didn't know of other-worlders and ability-stealing till he told them about it at the point of a sword
Also, it's not like I don't understand where that knight lady is coming from, but God, that temper...
Edit: Just occured to me after posting, but how come the knight lady is even in that world, given that the harvester picks out weak pretty girls who are unlikely to be able to fight back??

Edit: Just occured to me after posting, but how come the knight lady is even in that world, given that the harvester picks out weak pretty girls who are unlikely to be able to fight back??

I can only think the skill thief isn't too smart or careful about it. He supposedly kidnaps helpless beauties, but in reality he must not have done any background checks. Furthermore, he didn't even properly prepare for what happens after he kidnaps girls. After all, the girls are now out of his control and have taken over a piece of his private dimension, doing whatever they want.

Why I called the women stupid is because their one and only priority should be to get out of the place. Nothing else should matter, as long as they can do it safe and sound enough. They now snatched someone interesting enough for the skill thief to kidnap, whilst not being another beatiful girl, so their only concern should be to find out if he has what it takes to overpower the skill thief. Instead they started beating him up and threatening to kill him. How is that going to guarantee them any cooperation? They are morons.

If that's the case that would make it even stranger that he seemed to have the MC scoped out that well (knowing of his exploits from months ago and all) but was somehow that careless with the women.

So far it's only the lady knight who has displayed such hotheadedness (she's the one who contemplated preemptively killing him - and out loud at that - and then went into full-blown self-righteous rage at the MC's offering to "save them" when in fact he simply blurted that out in a moment of panic, whatever he thought would prevent him from getting killed on the spot, as opposed to any male-chauvinist sentiment, which is how she seems to have interpreted it) The mage seems to have a more level head on her by contrast

Maybe the other girls are either dead or in some basement or something, and only the few strong ones he mistakenly kidnaps are able to get away.
