I never had any liquor-laced chocolate before. Is it really that potent that someone can get drunk off it? Does it even taste good? I've only had beer and a homebrew so I don't really have a point of reference

Depends on the chocolate, the liquor and when the liquor is added. Most of the alcohol will cook out if added while the chocolate is still rather hot or while melting it, but the alcohol will maintain it strength if added as the chocolate starts cooling and setting. Not sure if you can you that drunk though unless you eat a lot, kinda like rum balls
