Noa is still a virgin though...

Thats one of the main reasons guys dumped her in the past. She's got a really hot body so they put up with her antics to get some but when she refused they left.

Most if not all of her past relationships were with shitty men aiming for her money and body. Rihito is literally the only male in a similar position to her exes that genuinely just wants to hangout and play together for fun. He wont pump and dump and she knows he isnt the type to do that.

What she is afraid of She literally shouts every other chapter lol. Shes scared of pushing him away. She is self aware enough to know she is a pain in the ass but cant stop, therefore she is trying to change herself for him. If she starts aiming for a relationship she believes he will get tired of her and leavr like all the other men.

Its like she thinks changing the relationship title to dating is what will trigger it to fall apart

lol the difference between this reply and the person you're replying to is crazy, people have completely opposite views of noa's character (i have no idea which is correct though)

To be honest, until Rihito develops more romantic feelings towards her, Noa is gonna be stuck like this forever. Remember that Noa got to this point because she rushed her relationships to the point where she practically only had one-night stands exclusively (due to how emotionally tiring she can be). Rihito is the only guy who seems willing to put up with her so she is EXTRA hesistent to be the one to change their relationship just in case of rejection/ it turns out that he pumps and then dumps her.
Noa has not been pumped yet.

Broooooo, Noa-senpai please, cannot you just realize your own feelings, like seriously how many more times will you be getting the same flashback of Negi asking you, if you like RihitoxDDD

Like this is literally how Noa acts every time she gets close to Rihito

She seems scared to acknowledge that feeling. She's scared if she's asking for more, Rihito probably will leave her. She insisted to maintain the status quo as "friend" and tried to step it up as "close friend" so that Rihito didn't leave her side. Basically, in Noa's mind right now, "As long as we're in friendzone, Rihito won't gonna leave me."

The author should make a sequel where rihito gradually falls inlove with noa, would def buy the whole manga.
Dont get me wrong, rihito right now is an absolute CHAD. Just an alternate ending would be great and where they live happily together would be nice

Well going by the fact the other person assumed she wasnt a virgin when she still is should tell you who's interpretation is right :smugnako:

But seriously, Noa isnt that bad. She just needs someone that calm and will temper her fire

"Hey, Noako. Don't you think your favourite character looks a lot like Otsuka?"

As much as I would like to see them hook up, I really prefer this type of dynamic more.

Someone did say that romcom manga ends when the characters get together, so I kinda want Noa to keep being a girl-failure.
Not all do. Most do because they drag out the before in the relationship to infinity and beyond and have nothing left to add when they get together. Some do it halfway through and some do it very early unfortunately it's not a common thing.

What I meant by that statement is that they dont literally "end" when the couple gets together, but the rather the story is essentially complete and the writing and characters really dont pan out better afterwards.

But yeah, you said it perfectly, theres nothing left to add when they get together. The statement I said was just a popular saying among romcom audiences.
