So he serves Hisahide Matsunaga's interest, right? However, even Hisahide himself is afraid of Kashin, and kept him at a distance. After Kashin's repeated failures of making sure Ken can't help Oda, Hisahide finally grows a spine and decided Kashin to be too dangerous and too much of a liability, expelling him from service.
