Its just a habit of his while speaking. He's let it slip frequently throughout the series. Usually people point it out but this time it went unnoticed
I find it hilarious Nobunaga would argue with Ken over eating a potato
Normally he would order it and Ken would relent but this time he’s not completely overriding him like he did after the nutmeg incident and is just arguing with Ken about it.
Probably because he’s fighting between his desire for new things and knowing that since it’s a trial item they would need every last one to try and grow it and if they fail who knows when he’d get to eat it again, especially since Ken knows that it’s unlikely he’d be satisfied with just the one
